Obituary of Kathleen T. Novi

CHESHIRE - Kathleen T. Novi, 90, passed away Monday May 16, 2016 at Elim Park Baptist Home. She was the wife of the late William F. Novi who passed away in 2009. Mrs. Novi was born September 27, 1925 in Monmouth, NJ, the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Herbert) Mulligan. She was a longtime Cheshire resident, moving to town in 1955 and was very active in her children’s lives. She was a communicant of St. Bridget Church and was a member of the Ladies Guild. Mrs. Novi is survived by her children William J. Novi and his wife Margaret of The Villages, FL , John Novi and his wife Marion of Plymouth, and Kenneth Novi of Cheshire; Daughter-in-law Laurie-Jean Novi of Southington, her nine grandchildren and her three great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Novi is predeceased by her sons Thomas and Christopher; her brother Thomas Mulligan; and her sister Beatrice Hauser. Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Friday May 20, 2016, 10:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
