Obituary of Frederick H. Perillo
MERIDEN - Frederick Perillo, 92, formerly of Naugatuck, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Silver Springs Care Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Doris (Mead) who passed away in 2004.
Mr. Perillo was born January 7, 1924 in Greenwich, the son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Grandonio) Perillo. He served in the Air Force during World War II and during this time, his plane crashed New Guinea and he was forced to live with the natives. He was a self-employed Painter who was an active member of the B.P.O.E. 967, assisting with Bingo. He was a member of both the Eagles and Polish American Clubs.
He is survived by his children Andrew Ulicky of Ridgefield, Linda Adams of Stamford, Cheryl Barbieri of Katona, NY, Judith Ahmed of Naugatuck, and Peter Sileo of Pompano Beach, FL; many grand and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son James.
Arrangements - The funeral will be held on Saturday July 30, 2016 at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Naugatuck Eagles Club, High St., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
