Dear Barry, Craig, Cindy & families, Barry & Craig & I went to McTernan together, and your mother and my late mother Vivian Chabot were good friends, and I think knew each other through garden club and crafting activities. Your mother visited our house, and I spoke to her often on the phone when she would call. We had a cordial relationship, and I was struck by her calm and gentle manner. She was lovely to look at and to be with, and I always enjoyed visiting with her.. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in 2005, and it was a slow decline. I gather your mom also was ill for some time, and I know illness and loss are not easy to deal with. I'm grateful your mom was a good friend to mine, and I hope you all have many loving memories of your mom to soften the pain of her passing. I wish you peace & healing in your grief.
