Obituary of Mary J. Lounsbury

Cheshire - Mary Jennette Lounsbury, 91, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2016 at Elim Park Place. She was born March 31, 1925, the daughter of Walter W. Lounsbury and Mary I. Lounsbury of Preston Terrace, Cheshire. Mary and her parents were members of St. Peter’s Church in Cheshire. After her parents died, Mary lived for many years on Cornwall Avenue in Cheshire. Mary is survived by her cousins, Marilyn K. Stiles of Rochester, Minnesota, Wendy S. Shute of Irvine, California, and Eric S. Shute of Dallas, Texas. Mary was best known for her cheerful, sweet, and friendly disposition, and for her love for family and for animals. One of her proudest moments was when she was a bridesmaid in her cousin’s wedding. Arrangements- A graveside ceremony will be held September 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peters Church, 59 Main Street, Cheshire. There are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
