Dear Craig, Dennis, Keith and your families So sorry we couldn't make it this time...but we are so sorry for the loss of your dear Mother Anita, especially following the loss of your Dad so soon. We truly know since we also lost our parents. Our Dad-your other Uncle Nicky- 36 yrs ago! At least you had them both for a long, long time & they had full lives! Anita was a pip -- and I say this with supreme fondness. She was funny, feisty, and fiercely competitive, particularly at the bridge table. For the last several years I was one of Anita's Thursday bridge marathon buddies at the Farms. Anita was generous with her knowledge and the challenge of playing with her made me a much better player. I also learned a lot about your family. Anita was remarkably stoical when her beloved Bill died. She often spoke of how fortunate she'd been, having enjoyed 70 years of a wonderful marriage and the children and grandchildren that followed. Anita could not have been prouder of you or loved you more. I will miss Anita, but I'll think of her gladly with every no-trump bid I make.
