For 33 years, I had the privilege of knowing you and being your son-in-law. With that, came the honor of being my First Mate on the "Fishful Thinking" and my Best Friend. Bluefish and Fluke on Cape Cod "Feared" you. I will treasure the memory of your standing on the front of the boat shouting "FISH ON--get the net, it's a Big One!!". You were a gifted teacher--I learned so much about plumbing, electrical work and working with wood from you. You were so talented and always eager to help and share your knowledge with everyone. There are monuments of things that you fixed and built everywhere. I will ride your Troy Bilt tractor proudly at it's new home on Cape Cod and think of you fondly each time that I do. I always looked forward to our miles and miles of dog walking, but more important to be alone with you and having extended opportunties to discuss the more important things in life. Thank you for sharing your wonderful daughter Diane with me. I promise to watch over her and Bern. Until we fish again, keep your rod tip up and your line tight. Rest in Peace. Captain Clay
