We shared our high school years and homeroom together. Our 50th reunion will be next year! You will be missed so very much! Your quiet sweetness made you stand out in the crowd! You left this earth way too soon! My prayers and thoughts are with your sons and, most especially, your granddaughter!

Dear Nancy, Carol & Pookie, I was very sorry to learn of Patty's passing.I met her at Holiday Hill Day Camp before I even moved to Cheshire. I was very happy to discover someone I already knew on Orchard Hill Road. Since I was an only child I liked hanging out with big families. We didn't know each other well but I remember your mother visited with my mom once in awhile. My 50th CHS reunion is coming up & it won't be the same without Patty. May God bless you & your families. Dear Jeff and Keith,
On this Thanksgiving Day, we want to express our deepest sympathies to you and your family on the recent loss of your dear Mom.
Pat was a wonderful, warm person and a dedicated Mom. We will remember her for her gentle, generous nature. She loved to laugh and possessed a witty sense of humor.
Even though we left Cheshire over 35 years ago, Pat remained our dear friend, communicating with long phone chats. We especially cherished the chance to talk to her recently before she passed. And, we will always remember the times when we were together as your house guests. Our memories of her and the experiences we shared together with you two will remain with us forever. And, we look forward to continuing our friendship as if Pat were still with us all.
With our love and sympathy,
Celine, Bill and Michael

Dear Jeff and Keith:
I think that you did a beautiful job in respecting your mom's wishes. She was devoted to you and you were devoted to her. The graveside service was as simple as she desired, but beautiful and touching.
Jeff, it took tremendous courage to stand and say a public goodbye, and maintain your composure as you did. Keith, as always, your humor brought a moment of delightful levity. I remember that newspaper article my sister described, and always after that I thought of her as "pretty Patty". She certainly was a beautiful person in every possible way. There surely seems to be no fairness in this world; to see such a wonderful person as your mom suffer so much, and in my mind there is no really good explanation as to why bad things happen to good people.
She was devoted to your grandmother and was so attentive to my mom as well. I'm thankful that Lorraine didn't live to see Patty's suffering and demise. Almost every time we took her to the Orchard Hill home, she suffered the loss of her sister as a fresh wound, and her heart would have been devastated to know you lost your mother.
Please feel free to call (or email) for anything. I am working on transferring my phone number to Cheshire (132 Southwick 203.288.8189), but I am still in Mom and Maureen's house for now. I don't really know what to offer, other than words of sympathy, but please let me know how I could assist with anything.
With love, and sorrow, your cousin Frances
