My deepest condolences to the family, may you find comfort in prayer and the beautiful words of Isaiah 25:8 where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all death and suffering. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our loved ones again! I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow. https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODBible/pub-jwbcov_201405_5_VIDEO

My deepest condolences to all of Dr. Falk's family. He was an excellent pediatrician and a good mentor to me when I was a pediatric Resident 26 years ago. I heard about this big loss relatively late, otherwise I would be there for his funeral.

Dear Dr. Falk's family:
I just wanted to express my sincere condolences to all of you. Dr. Falk was my pediatrician -- I loved him as my doctor. I'm in my 40's now and I still remember going to see him -- he was always kind, patient and caring, exactly what you want in a pediatrician. I was crushed when he had to break the news to me that I had "aged" out and had to get an adult doctor -- I just naively assumed at the time that he was going to be my doctor forever. He was such a great doctor and I will always remember him fondly. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Amy Mahon Garceau (Dr. Falk's patient)

Steven and Jody,
The Heminway family will forever be grateful to both of your parents for being such wonderful, true friends to our parents over many, many years. And Lord knows, at times it was probably not that easy! Tennis, croquet, pool parties. Our parents could not have had better neighbors who dropped everything when their help was needed.
After dad died your father would come over and help mom with whatever little problems cropped up at the house. He was so patient as was your mom who would call every night and talk to mom which was such a blessing as mom started to wrestle with Alzheimers.
You had wonderful parents and it is tough when things change. you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My husband, Dr. Craig Shealy and I played tennis with your father for many years, mostly indoors at the Tribury Racquet club in Middlebury. Mike was such a great tennis player; covering the court rapidly, chopping short shots just over the net, hitting hard long shots that often dropped right on the line. But more than his tennis prowess, I will always remember his good manners, gentlemanly ways, good humor, and great smile. Mike was a fine man, generous with his time and pursuits to help others. I will surely miss him.

I pray that you all find strength during this time of mourning, but are also able to celebrate the amazing and accomplished life of Dr. Falk, one that seems to have been full of devotion to family and community. I hope that I am able to have such a lasting impact as your father, and carry it forward as he has done in you.
With Love,
