I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Otavia's family. She and Charlie were such good people during my stay at the Church of the Epiphany for 10 years as their Pastor. I remember the time as they were emptying out their home to move to the assisted living center in Cheshire. They called me up, asked me if I would be interested in their dining room set and I have the buffet in my parents home and the dining room table at my summer place in Woodstock in which I remember and recall them very often. Many that come onto my porch and see the table with the high back chairs make the comments they have never seen something more beautiful on a porch in a trailer park. To this I credit Otavia and Charlie and will always remember them. Unfortunately I cannot be present at the wake due to Mass and a meeting here at my new parishes of St. Patrick and St. Joseph in Waterbury and also for the funeral. I will offer a mass for her in the near future and include Charlie as well. Be assurd of my continued prayers at this time for you who are left behind to share in their memories.
