Obituary of Loretta Cindy Clarke

Loretta Cindy Clarke, age 58, of York, PA and formerly of the Cheshire Hamden area, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Wellspan York Hospital. Loretta was born on December 22, 1958 in Hamden, CT, daughter of the late Foster and Ethel (Hurlburt) Clarke. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Loretta enjoyed caring for everyone, especially her grandchildren. She is the beloved mother of Darren Diaz and his wife, Katie, Anthony Diaz, Natasha Diaz, Lisa Diaz and Clayton Diaz. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Arieana, Kaden and Lacen, and her siblings, Delores, Douglas, Ellen, Paula and Wendy. She was predeceased by her infant son, Brian and her siblings, Linda, Foster Jr., and Arlene. Friends are invited to greet her family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main St., Cheshire, CT 06410 on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 10AM until her funeral service at 12PM. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Rd.
