Obituary of Eugene Sheehan
Las Vegas, NV- Mr. Eugene Sheehan, formerly of Waterbury, passed away on November 7, 2016 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Sheehan was born in Waterbury on February 3, 1935, son of the late Francis P. Sheehan and Kay (Skirkanich) Sheehan.
Eugene served in the Air Force during the Korean War and then went on to work for the U.S. government and the military as a computer specialist, traveling all over the world on business.
Eugene is survived by two sisters, Ellen Sheehan-Fraser of Waterbury and Dorothy Caterino of Bethlehem. He also leaves his Brother in Law Ronald Fraser of Waterbury and several nieces, nephews and cousins; also his dear friends Fred and Jane Keillor of California. Eugene was also pre deceased by his brother Francis Sheehan.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11AM at New St. Joseph Cemetery in Waterbury. A memorial mass was said at the Basilica of The Immaculate Conception on February 26, 2017. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
