Maggie was a dear dear friend when we worked at Bristol Myers Laboratories in Wallingford and we have exchanged Christmas cards all the years since I moved to Marco Island, Florida to take care of my parents in 1992. What a fighter -- never letting her ailments get her down.
It's interesting that before the wrath of Irma hit our island I evacuated to a friend's relatives in Fairhope. What a lovely community.
I only realized something was wrong when I received my Christmas card to Maggie back today in the mail.
My sympathy to all.
