Obituary of Frances Chomiak

NEW HAVEN - Frances Chomiak, 64, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her home.  She is predeceased by her father Walter and mother Frances (Carrano) Chomiak. 

Fran was born October 13, 1952 in New Haven and was raised in Hamden where she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy class of 1970 and attended Quinnipiac University. She was a New Haven resident for the past 20 years also working at Yale University.

She is survived by her sister Carolyn (Joe) Angelicola of Cheshire; her aunt Jennie C. Kruse of Sarasota, FL; her nephews, Matthew and Mark Angelicola; as well as several cousins.

The family would like to thank the officers of the New Haven Police Department as well as New Haven Fire Department for their compassion and kindness.

Arrangements - A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire.  Friends are asked to meet directly at church.  Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven and there are no calling hours.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, Suite 200, Framingham, MA  01701.
