Obituary of Robin Ann Mitchell

Ms. Robin Ann Mitchell, 58, of Seymour, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her home.

Robin was born in Derby, June 20, 1958, a daughter of Palma (Marcucio) Mitchell, and the late Ronald Mitchell, Sr. and was a lifelong resident of the Valley.  She was educated in the Derby school system and was a graduate of Derby High School.  She was a 15 year employee of Curved Glass of Derby, retiring in 2001.  She enjoyed crocheting, animals, taking walks, and spending time with family and her Pomeranian, “Kali”.

She leaves her daughter, Candace Mitchell of Seymour, her brother, Marc Michell of East Haven; two sisters, Katherine J. Burt of Seymour and Suzanne Fascione of Berlin and her granddaughter, Samantha Doohan of Seymour.  In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Mitchell, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m.at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. (Rt. 63).  Friends are invited to a memorial gathering immediately following the calling hours at the Polish American Club, 198 Bridge St., Naugatuck.
