My deepest sympathy to the entire Sica family. I just learned today of Esty's passing. Its been years since I've been able to contact Esther. I'm so sad this is how I found her again. She was the best friend anyone could ever wish or hope for. She committed her heart fully to friends and family. I met Esther when she was 17,I was 23 and I was very protective of her. She was the little sister I never had. She was there for me in some of my most difficult moments-when no one else was. If I needed to talk, she'd listen. If I needed to go for a ride, she would come, if I needed to cry, she would hold me, If I needed to eat, she would feed me.( Carm would make us dinner sometimes)
I always felt like she was the teacher because she had so much wisdom and such an old soul for such a young woman. She is truly GOD's ANGEL and I have no doubt that she was chosen to be at the front of the line getting into heaven.I loved and cared for her more than anyone(besides my daughter)in the world!
I will cry and mourn for her everyday. Your big bright beautiful smile and those gorgeous big brown eyes will always be embedded in my memory forever. I sure wish that I got to see you and spend time with you and remain a part of your life-I've had so many things I wanted to share with you, but never got too.
We had nicknames for each other(pooky,pookster,pookles, etc) that people sometimes laughed at, but that made it more fun because we always loved laughing at ourselves at least once a day. I will eternally miss you. I can't believe your gone :(

In looking for some information on Notre Dame Academy, I came across Esther's obituary. She was my classmate in 8th grade. I remember her as a kind person, and can see from her photograph and the information shared here that indeed, she had grown to be a person who offered her kindness to many others. I am so very terribly sorry to hear this news of her passing. My deepest condolences go to all her loved ones.
