In this time of sadness that Kevin is no longer among the living, I just hope he and Henry Kogut are reunited in death. I have missed their friendship and I hope Henry is able to welcome Kevin with open arms! They had such a special friendship and we also called him our son. The world has definitely lost a special person in Kevin, but God rest his soul and I hope Kevin now has the peace he deserves! You will be sadly missed Kevin, as you have left everlasting impressions in our hearts.
Be happy in your new life and know you have left us much happiness in your past life. We mourn your passing but smile on your new life, even though it's the afterlife! Give Henry a big hug for me! Miss you both..Love

My deepest condolences to Kevin's Dad, sisters, and the whole family.
I had the honor of serving with Kevin in the General Assembly for 12 years. He was always kind, considerate, and thoughtful in every sense of that term. Whether we agreed or disagreed on an issue, Kevin was never disagreeable. Rather, he was always forthright, polite and collegial.
Kevin was so proud to represent his hometown - his friends, family and neighbors - whose thoughts and perspectives he often cited. When he left the Assembly for the DPUC, he would still stop by the House chamber to give his regards and remind us to do right by Naugatuck.
Kevin and I had birthdays just a day apart, and used to give each other a hard time about how old the other was getting. It's terrible and painful beyond words to know that I won't get to do that again this coming spring. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole DelGobbo family.

You were taken from the world all to soon my dear friend. You have accomplished so much and are a shining example of the best we can be.
You have deeply touched so many lives and are sorely missed. While we parted ways many years ago back in the UCONN days, one of my fondest memories of you is you singing one of your favorite songs of that time:
"Floating in the summer sky, Ninety - nine red balloons go by"
"And here is a red balloon. I think of you and let it go..."
All my best to you, your family and the many whose lives were changed for the better by your presence.

Words can not express our feeling of loss.
Kevin was a unique soul who gave everything his all and made those around him feel special. We were lucky to have had him in our lives....boy we had some great conversations with him about the world, life, politics (sometimes heated so we didn't have too many of those but they were still fun!!!) He was always doing something for others - we wondered at his devotion and commitment. He truly left the world a better place and the heavens are surely richer today.
Our prayers and love are with Chrissy, Mr. Stiber and the rest of Kevin's family.
Rest in peace dear friend. All our love - Rick and Beth

IT IS DIFFICULT TO EXPRESS THE DEEP SORROW WE HAVE REGARDING THE PASSING OF OUR DEAR FRIEND AND "ADOPTED THIRD SON", KEVIN.
WE HAVE KNOWN AND LOVED HIM SINCE MOVING TO THE BRISTOL TERRACE NEIGHBORHOOD IN 1974. KEVIN AND OUR SON TONY GREW UP TOGETHER, SERVING WITH THE CIVIL AIR PATROL, BEING PART OF THE "GANG" OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD, & GRADUATING NAUGY HIGH TOGETHER. WE HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF KEVIN THAT WILL SUSTAIN OUR MEMORY OF HIM WHICH WILL NEVER FADE. WE HOPE HE HAS FOUND PEACE AND TRANQUILITY!
MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP HIM FOREVER!

So sorry to hear of Kevin's passing.
In 1995, a group of girl scouts, their leader, Maria Folsom, and myself went to Naugatuck Town Hall concerning the preserving of passive open space in the Gunntown neighborhood. Not knowing what to expect, we were greeted by Kevin with "can I help?"
While political differences would surface as years went by, Kevin always responded, usually in person, to a request to see him or for information.
While walking my dog through our neighborhood, Kevin would occasionally stick his head out the back door of his home for a "good morning."
I'll miss him as will the community.

My deepest condolences to Kevin's family and all loved ones. Kevin's passing, I know, has been a profound loss for so many - past, present and future.
Kevin and I were close friends in high school. We shared many special times together. Most memorable was our solo trip to attend the Simon and Garfunkel "Summer Evening" reunion concert which he loved.
He was a man of passion, conviction and a loving old soul even at 17! So sorry for your loss. Truly, well done faithful servant!

He never hesitated to offer his help, advise, presence, resources... I asked him once many years ago, how he had the energy for all that he did; all the people, time, energy, events - He simply couldn't imagine any thing else. Public service was in his DNA and something he knew very early was his calling. I'd like to imagine it was his great privilege to truly live his passion, even for these too few years. It was my privilege to call him friend.

I was so very shocked to read of Kevin's passing in the Courant yesterday. We worked together on the Appropriations Committee one session, back before he was a legislator. I loved Kevin's smile, his energy, his humor and his passion. I loved him even more when I found out that he and I had been in a class together at UConn - Russian Chorus, of all things! That led to Russian song singing, which I'm sure our co-workers were thrilled with. A promising life ended much too soon. Condolences to his family.

I was so incredibly sad to hear the news of Kevin's death. He was a wonderful friend for so many years, and from City Hill Middle School to Naugy High to UConn and beyond he was steadfast and true. I wish I could be there Sunday to give Chrissy and Mr. Stiber a hug but I will be the Boston area for my niece's christening. Please know my entire family will be there in spirit. Connecticut is a sadder place without my friend, Kevin. He lit up the room with intelligence, compassion and a flare for good old fashion mischief. He enjoyed people. He excelled in the give and take of legislative process where he crafted many a thoughtful compromise in the complex arena of energy policy. I am better for having known him. And my heartfelt condolences go out to his family. Thank you for sharing him with his Capitol friends

Art and I were given the great opportunity to work with Kevin at PURA. His work standard and ethic was of very few. He was a caring, supportive boss who will never be forgotten. After his departure from PURA, we dined with him on occasion, turning our relationship into one of friendship. As a friend, he was always willing to help in any way he could. Running into him at Big Y always promised a warm embrace and handshake. Stay safe, our friend, and know how much you will always be loved and cherished. We wish his family and, as he called, "dear" friends peace and faith during this awful time.

Chrissy and Barry,
Some of the best days of my life were being included as part of your family. Sitting at the table with Kevin, Nancy, Barry, Jeff, and Chrissy talking about the town and politics are memories that will live in my heart forever. Thank you for letting me be part of the family. You all meant the world to me.
Know that even as much as KD loved politics he loved you all so much more.
