Obituary of Maria Felix

NAUGATUCK - Maria do Rosario (DaSilva) Felix, 56, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. 

Maria was born October 22, 1960 in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, the daughter of the late Jose Antonio and Maria Jose DaSilva.  She came to the United States in the late 1970s and was employed for a number of years at Braxton Industries in Watertown.

Maria is survived by her daughters Stephanie Lawton of Waterbury and Andrea Felix of Branford; her son Daniel Felix of Naugatuck; her grandchildren Alexander and Ethan; as well as her 11 siblings residing in the U.S. and Portugal; and many nieces and nephews. 

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Friday July 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 14 Salem Street, Naugatuck.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.  The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or to Smilow Cancer Hospital, Office of Development, P.O.
