Obituary of Ellen M. Pardee

CHESHIRE- Ellen Marie (Denegre) Pardee, 62, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her residence.

She was born July 6, 1955 in Bangor, ME daughter of Joseph and Kathleen (Rodican) Denegre.

Ellen was a graduate of UCONN where she received a B.A in Economics. She was a Sales Representative for Colonial Life Insurance prior to her retirement. Ms. Pardee was an avid bike rider, horse lover and movie historian, and made family and friends laugh through her observations of life, love and politics. 

Besides her parents Ellen is survived by her Maine Coon cat, Roy Pardee, two brothers, Joseph and his wife Cecelia Denegre of Philadelphia, PA, and James Denegre and his wife Terry Hayamizu of Bar Harbor, ME; her sister Louise Denegre Tosun and her husband Rik Tosun of Chatham, NJ; and her nieces and nephews Andrew, Adriana, Caitlin, Lucy, and Robbie.

Arrangements- A service for Ms. Pardee will be held 11 A.M Thursday August 17, 2017 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Road, 06410. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral from 10 A.M until the service starts at 11 A.M. Donations in her name may be made to the Cheshire Municipal Animal Control, 500 Highland Ave, Cheshire, 06410.
