Carol was my best friend through high school, we "came of age" together. After I left Waterbury, she and my sister became friends as well. I would think of her often, as I have a painting her father, Joe, did all those years ago that I still love and still hangs on my wall.
This is very sad news, I was looking forward to catching up with her at Wilby's 50th next fall.
