Obituary of Patricia M. Caron

Cheshire - Patricia M. Caron, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Mid-State Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Charles Caron.

Mrs. Caron was born March 17, 1935, in Springfield, Ma., a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kearney) Maunsell. She was retired from Mattatuck Community College where she was employed as Assistant Director of Student Activities. She recently retired from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Southington, Ct.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, Mrs. Caron is survived by her sons, Charles, and his wife Debra Caron , Michael, and his wife, Patricia Caron, her daughter, Mary Atkins, her brother, Michael Maunsell, and her sister, Kathleen Shea. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Charles III, William, Caitlyn Mary, and Michael Jr. She was previously deceased by her grandson, Jason Adkins.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, with the funeral procession leaving the The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., at 9:15 and proceeding to St. Bridget Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am.  Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions, in Patricia’s name, may be made to “The Jason Adkins Scholarship Fund” at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 154 Meadow Street, Bristol, Ct.
