Paula and family,
Just learned of Don's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers for you all.
Don & I were together in the Army in St. Louis with the Readiness Command. I recall many happy memories of Don, especially his smile and sense of humor. We retired from the Army about the same time. I went to work with Boeing Helicopters while Don joined Sikorsky. My wife & I now live in Auburn, AL near our grand children.
Farewell dear comrade, hope to see you on the other side.

True friendship multiplies the good in life and diminishes the bad. Accordingly, we should strive to have friends for life…for a life without friends is like an existence on a deserted island… Finding even one good friend in a lifetime is good fortune; keeping that friend is a blessing.
DOC was not only a good friend but he was a best friend. Donald O. Cilley, you will be dearly missed.

Monika and I are so sorry to hear of Donny's passing. He and I were pretty much inseparable during our growing up years, we kind of grew up together. We had so many happy and wonderful years together.
We would like to be there in the spring.

Donnie was a wonderful Brother. He was 7 years older then me and always out playing Little Leaque or basketball or hanging out with his buddies. He asked me to wrap his Christmas presents for his then girl friend...I had a tendency to be jealous of this girl friend because she saw more of him then I did. With this 7 year difference, I never really knew what he was up to...Graduation...Service to our Country...etc. He truly became a big brother to me as I grew older...he made sure I knew he was there for me throughout my uneasy marriage and the death of my husband. He was always my rock when I felt that I was drifting. He kept his own medical problems from me during 2008, he knew I was hurting. I feel that I never gave to him what he gave to me, I hope he knew that I loved my big brother, I think being the baby of the family, as I am, I have always been protected from others problems. I will missed him tremendously. Rest in peace. I know you have now been reunited with Bill, Mom, Dad, Bette and all his furry buddies!
