My sincere condolences to the Gracy family and loved ones. John was like a Dad to me, and to many other kids in the neighborhood for that matter. Even when I grew up and moved away he was always happy to see me whenever I'd returned for a visit. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Fortunately for me I was in town for a few hours just a few short weeks ago and had the chance to stop by to see Kelly and John. When I asked John if I could give him a hug, he smiled his big sweet smile and whispered yes. I'll keep the memory of that smile of his forever in my heart along with many other fond memories of growing up at the Gracy home with John, Pat and the Gracy family. love you guys

Papa, I may have not known you for a life time, but the time we had together will be remembered for one. You were the patriarch to the amazing Gracy clan and you will forever be in our hearts. I will cherish the memories we shared at the house, and Eric and I are so grateful you were able to see the home we are building together. Rest at peace Papa Gracy.

Rest in peace to my amazing grandfather. I'll miss hearing you ask if there are any scratches on my car even though the answer was always no. I'll miss bringing you ice cream sundaes or milkshakes from Carvel as it was always an excuse to get myself one too. I love you and miss you! Rest easy, Papa.
