Obituary of David T. Olsen

CHESHIRE- David T. Olsen, 76, passed away, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Patricia (Wilson) Olsen whom he was married to for 53 years. Mr. Olsen was born September 11, 1941 in New Haven son of the late L. Russell and Alma (Krooner) Olsen.

David was a graduate of the University of New Haven where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an Electrical Engineer at S.N.E.T prior to his retirement.

Mr. Olsen is survived by his two sons Dean and his wife Lisa Olsen of Southington, and Todd Olsen of Plantsville; a daughter Karen and her husband John Pattison of Plantsville; sister Andrea Putnam of Belle Mead, NJ; and four grandchildren Alyssa and Thomas Pattison, and Hannah and Kate Olsen. David was predeceased by his brother Denis Olsen.

Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at St. Bridget of Sweden Church, 175 Main Street, 06410. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Donations in his name can be made to St. Bridget of Sweden School, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410.
