Dear Margret,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the passing of your beloved husband, Bo.
It was good to see you around our small neighborhood in Hamden when you used to take a walk by yourself in the afternoon and stop by my front yard when I was doing yard work. Among other things, you always talked about Bo and his accomplishments. It was very touching to see how devoted you are to him and how you loved him very deeply. That was quite admirable. I can only imagine the pain that you are going through now that he is gone.
I can see from my kitchen window the freshly dug earth from the cemetery where he will be laid. Bo is coming back to the old neighborhood! I hope I can see you again when you visit his grave and then we can talk again about Bo.
Take care,
José

Dear family of Bo,
I only knew Bo for about 5 years in the late 70’s but I can never forget how kind and thoughtful and unfailingly gentlemanly he was. This was all the more remarkable for the tribulations he had to endure earlier in his life. I did not ever meet anyone at Uniroyal who did not look up to and admire him. In total, his was the kind of life that many should aspire to but few will achieve. He will be greatly missed.
Please accept my most sincere condolences for his passing.

Dear Family of Bo von Schmeling, Lillian and I send sincere condolences to your entire family upon the death of Bo as we called him at Bethany Lab of UNIROYAL Chemical CO. Bo made tremendous contributions to the total success of the Ag Chemical Division for which we are most grateful. Ron especially worked closely with Bo when he had International responsibilities and appreciated his knowledge of our growth potentials in the world markets. Ron is grateful for being able to work for and with Bo to enhance our World Wide markets.

Wow! another wonderful pillar of an incredible epoch. Such fond memories I have of Easter egg hunts on Scottland Farm, late night swims, lazy days on the Outer Banks NC... I know Uncle Bo is in good company with my Father talking about silly youthful antics or maybe the price fo Barley...maybe over a game of Ches? I am so sorry to see him go!
May you all find comfort in the memories of a truly beautiful life!
Much love to you all!
Christiane
