Obituary of Helen A. Bis

Helen A. Bis of Cheshire died Sunday, February 25, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late John J. and Kathryn (Jada) Bis.  Helen was a lifelong resident of Cheshire.  She was employed at the Ball & Socket until her retirement.  Helen was a parishioner of St. Bridget’s Church.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and the Boston Red Sox.

Helen was predeceased by brothers, Joseph J. and Edward J. Bis and sisters, Anne M. Suntava and Emily Tyburski.  Helen is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may greet her family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 9AM until 10AM.  At 10:15AM her funeral procession will leave the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11AM in St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire.  Interment will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery.  To leave online condolences for her family please visit www.fordfh.com
