Obituary of Louise Garston

WATERBURY - Louise Garston, 92, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her home in Waterbury.  She was the wife of the late Alfred Garston.

Mrs. Garston was born December 29, 1925 in Burlington, NJ, the daughter of the late Bernard and Florence (Valinsky) Brown. She worked for many years for the City of Waterbury and upon her retirement was employed at Beth El Synagogue.

She is survived by her daughters Robin Franklin and her husband Edmund and April Garston and her husband Vincent Gizzi; as well as many neighborhood friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Beth El Cemetery, Boydon St., Waterbury.  Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Silas Bronson Library, P.O. Box 2853, Waterbury, CT 06723.  The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury is assisting with arrangements.
