Obituary of Francis R. Fargnoli

CHESHIRE- Frank (Francis) R. Fargnoli, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.  Mr. Fargnoli was born March 9, 1935 in Waterbury, the son of the late John and the late Anna (Fontana) Fargnoli. 

He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury and then attended Fairfield University.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.  He was a longtime employee of the Olin Corporation where he worked as a Research Technician.  After retiring from Olin, he worked for Sears in Meriden.

He is survived by his sisters Elaine Owen of Madison, CT and Marian Herrick of MA. 

The family would like to thank Yale New Haven Cardiac Unit So. Pavilion 52, Jennifer Kelley, LCSW, and Maureen Kennedy, Case Manager for their exceptional care and compassion for Frank.

Arrangements - A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Road, Watertown and there are no calling hours.  The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
