Obituary of Anne-Elisabeth Petroff

New York, NY - Anne-Elisabeth Petroff, 99, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at Brighton Gardens of Middletown in Middletown, NJ.  She was the wife of the late Ognjan Petroff. 

Mrs. Petroff was born January 17, 1919 in Bierfeld, Saar France, the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Herman and Maria (Schoellen) Herman.  She was a microbiologist for the Polyclinic Hospital of New York.

Mrs. Petroff is survived by her son Ognen A. Petroff, and his wife, Genevieve, of Cheshire, and her daughter, Svetlana V. Petroff of New York. She will also be missed by her grandsons, Christopher and Matthew.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:30 A.M., at St. Bridget of Sweden Church, 150 Main Street, Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be in St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
