I was scanning a June issue of The Cheshire Herald tonight looking for an ad my sons placed for our farm market when I saw Connie in the obituaries. My brother in law mentioned that a girl he knew from school passed on, but I could not place a face to the name. Now seeing her picture I realize I knew Connie from her visits to our farm stand and a time spent at a retreat in Farmington many years ago. Reflecting upon her, inner strength comes to mind. Inner strength and kindness. She was a lovely person, and to know her was a blessing. My regards to her family.

My heart goes out to the Klanica family on your precious loss:
May you find some comfort in the Most High God’s written word. He promises to fulfill His all that He has said (Titus 1:2). No more sickness(Isaiah 33:24). No more death (Isaiah 25:8). Seeing our loved ones again ( John5:28, 29) and he says where at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29). Later when you feel up to it, to read these few Scriptures of Comfort. They helped me when my husband fell asleep in death and I hope they will be of some comfort to you as well.

I worked with Connie at Barker Specialty for many years, she was the sweetest, most gentle person, I had ever met. Always dressed so pristine and so put together. She was a walking "doll" May she find her peace and serenity and be able to rest until we see her again.

To all of Connie’s family,
I was blessed to have known Connie as a friend and colleague for over 20 years. Justin and Dan grew up together and the Klanica family will always be in our hearts. Connie and I had many fun times driving in the company van talking about Justin and Ben and the family she loved so much. I will never forget the snow storm we braved for 8 hours and Brian waiting in the driveway for her. We will all miss her beautiful spirit and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Brian, Justin, Ben and Family- we are all heartbroken with the passing of Connie. We all loved Connie and we remember her so fondly. Connie was so kind and considerate to all. Customers and her fellow employees adored Connie and for many years Connie would return to work on Halloween with Justin and Ben, to hand out huge bags of candy to everyone!
Connie was loved deeply by Gloria Barker, and they had a friendship that was very deep.

There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. I met Connie through Kelly at one of her birthday parties at her parents. She was so warm and welcoming,it was as if we knew each other for a long time. After the next time she and I were together it was as if no time passed,and shortly after I got home I had a “friend request “ on Facebook from her. She saw good in all she looked at and that brightened everyone’s life! Remembering that brightness may make some days easier.

My dear friend Connie, words cannot express how sad I am to hear this news. I remember all the good times we had at work,the lunches you made for us and your awesome friendship. I can't fathom this. The last time I saw you was at the class with the sphere(can't remember the name of it) but I told you it wasn't for me because I can't mentally relax. We had laughs about it then but I wish I called you for coffee soon after. We had a friendship that would pick up where we left off, all was good!
