Obituary of Marilyn Gallinari

CHESHIRE- Marilyn Gallinari, 90, passed away Friday June 15, 2018 in the VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit at

St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of Henry Gallinari who predeceased her in 1986 after 45 years of marriage. Mrs. Gallinari is survived by her daughter Janet M. and her husband Sam Bahgat of Cheshire; and a son Henry and his wife Susan Gallinari of Holmes, NY.

She was born August 23, 1927 in New York, NY daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Hodessek) Costa.

Marilyn was a Case Worker for the Department of Social Security in Westchester, NY prior to her retirement. In her free time she loved Traveling, Cooking, Singing, and above all spending time with her loving family. Over the years, she assisted her husband with running and overseeing businesses in the New York area. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and community member.

Besides her daughter and son, she is survived by two brothers George and Richard Costa; and three grandchildren Dena, Nora, and Joseph Bahgat.

Arrangements- Calling hours for Marilyn will be held 5 to 8 P.M Monday, June 18, 2018 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. A service for Mrs. Gallinari will be held 10 A.M, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530. Entombment will follow after the service.
