On several occasions, I had the good fortune to play golf with Joe, particularly in the Ryder Cup golf event at The Farms. We both are from the school of frustrated golf. We were able to calm the waters when the conversation turned to our families. I knew Joe to be a very loving Dad and husband. He is a first ballot entrant into Heaven and while Heaven is richer for his presence, our world is lesser. Cheryl and my thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

In Loving Memory of our Good Friend and Business Associate Joe;
There are stars up above,
so far away we only see their light
long, long after the start itself is gone.
And so it is with people that we loved—
their memories keep shining ever brightly
though their time with us is done.
But the stars that light up the darkest night,
these are the lights that guide us.
As we live our days, these are the ways we remember.
On behalf of everyone at Switches Unlimited we express
our sincere and deepest sympathies to the Martinez family
and everyone at Oslo Switch.

Joe left an indelible impression on me -- he radiated warmth, humor, and the joy of living. When you were in the room with Joe, you knew you were in the presence a very big heart. His zest for life was larger than life.
Although I knew him for only a short time, I admired Joe very much. My heart goes out to all the Martinecz and Morley family in the face of this devastating loss.
With much love and many tears,
Melissa

Rarely do you meet such warm, welcoming and friendly people as the Martinecz family. Mr. Martinecz was a great friend, all you could ask for in a neighbor and someone I knew I could reach out to for advice and did so often. He didn’t just smile when he saw you, he smiled because he was genuinely that happy to see you. His love for his family and friends is unconditional and to George and Molly; he could not be more proud of the successful, happy adults you have grown to become. His character lives in you.
Love, Tommy

Joe will forever hold such a special part of our heart as we look back at so many memorable experiences shared as friends and neighbors. We will always remember Joe and his dance moves, fun at block parties, dinners and outside with our four legged family..
Joe spoke with such gleam in his eyes when talking about Michelle, Molly and George and he will continue to be by your side always.
Sending much love to you all and we are so grateful to have Joe a part of our lives.
