Obituary of Kenneth E. Judson
WATERBURY – Kenneth E. Judson, 94, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Glendale Center in Naugatuck. He was the loving husband of Angeline (Mikulskis) Judson for 66 years.
Mr. Judson was born December 20, 1923 in Monroe, CT son of the late Frank and Arvesta (Curtiss) Judson.
He graduated from Leavenworth High School Class of 1942. A navy veteran, and Purple Heart Recipient, Ken served in World War II, both in the Atlantic and Pacific. Before his retirement he worked as a Toolmaker for Seymour Smith and Company. Ken was an avid golfer and member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 7330 in Oakville.
Besides his wife he leaves one daughter Carol Salvia and her husband Philip of Oakville; his son Roger Judson and his wife Gail of Palm Desert, CA; two grandsons Brian and Darrell Salvia; two step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; sisters Gladys Pelzer of Marion and Ruth Morelli of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by a sister Della Varis and his brothers, Curtiss Judson and Allan Judson.
He will be in our hearts always and missed beyond words. The family wishes to express their thanks to the Glendale Center for the wonderful care they provided to Ken over the last year and a half.
Arrangements: Mr. Judson’s funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 496 Chase Ave. A calling hour will be held from 9 AM until the service begins at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cutler’s Farm and Elm Street Cemetery, 331 Cross Hill Rd, Monroe, CT 06468 .
