Dear Aunt Fanny,
Now that you are in Heaven
A new star shines at night.
The day you arrived
Your family and friends,
Meeting you with opened arms,
Must have been a wonderful sight.
Your family and friends you left behind
Are sorrowful over their loss.
Yet,you lived a life far longer
A family record you will hold-
102 years young.
The memories we have of you,
All different to one and all,
Will bring us smiles,
Some roaring laughs
And yes…
Perhaps a few tears will fall.
From the day you were born,
A member of the world for so long,
You added life to the planet Earth.
On the day you died
Our Lord must have said…
“Fran, time to leave and join us above
To be part of and share our heavenly love.”
So,as we bid you our fond farewell
Know we are glad you are at peace.
Your life well lived,a legacy you’ve left.
Enjoy your reunions,all smiles,no tears
Tell one and all of those left behind
How we miss them everyday
And in our hearts they will always stay.
So,dear Aunt Fanny,
Until we meet again..
