Obituary of Mary Phyllis Mischou
FAIRFIELD- Mary Phyllis Mischou, 85, formerly of Cheshire, passed away September 27, 2018 at her residence. She was the widow of Jack L. Mischou who passed away in 1982 after 22 years of marriage.
Mrs. Mischou was born April 13, 1933 in Waterbury. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Kathryn (Maroney) Coppeto.
Phyllis, a graduate of Colby Sawyer Junior College, retired in 1999 from her position as an Insurance Coordinator at Norwalk Hospital to spend time with her family. She also enjoyed time spent with friends at the Weston Senior Center and her parish, St Francis of Assisi, Weston.
Mrs. Mischou is survived by her loving daughter Krista and her husband Matthew Rogers of Ansonia; her brother Phil Coppeto of Cheshire; two sisters Kathryn Haight and Mildred Palmieri both of Cheshire; and the two joys of her life -her grandchildren Olivia and Alexandra “Lexi” Rogers.
Phyllis also loved and will be missed by several nieces and nephews. And of course, her many friends that she enjoyed spending her time to talk with and smile.
Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 11 am at St Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5pm to 7pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S Main St. Donations in her name can be made to City of St. Jude 2048 W.
