Mary Ann and family: My deepest sympathy to all of you. He was a wonderful man, he gave so much to his hometown, to the Hamden Fire Dept., to his family and friends. He will so sorely missed by many. To my sister-in-law Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss as well, hard to lose a brother, harder to lose your twin brother. Wish I could be there for you but that is not to be, I am however there with you in love and sympathy. My love to all.

Uncle Doug I will always remember how you made me laugh. We didn't get to see each other nearly often enough but we always picked up right where we left off with you razzing us and all of us belly laughing. You were an amazing man and you will be very greatly missed.
My love and prayers are with all of you always but today especially. Try to find a moment of joy. He would want every one of you to laugh and smile.

Thank you so much for always treating me like family and putting a roof over my head all those years ago when I didn't have a place to stay. You made such a positive impact on all of us growing up, you will never be forgotten... but the corn silk Dougie, the corn silk wasn't very funny... though I know you definitely had a good laugh..lol Chris knows what I am talking about.. you will definitely be missed.
