Whenever I drive by your old family home on Cornwall Avenue, I am inspired to remember what a cheerful, fair and fun friend you were during our days at Doolittle School. I imagine those qualities only flourished as you grew into a man, became a husband and then a father.
God bless you and all of your loved ones,Tom.

You are one of my oldest friends. More like a brother. Since the Summer of 1974. 44 years. Firing off model rockets over at LaSallette, camping with Boy Scouts, Dungeons & Dragons, Saturday Night "bonfire socials", Sunday Nights at the Millpond Tavern watching the Galvanized Jazz Band, and of course, many, many tailgates for Patriot games.
You were with me the night I met the love of my life. We were supposed to go down to the New Haven Green to watch Buddy Rich, but it was a drizzly night and we went out clubbing instead. It was good to have you as a wingman, and my life has been so much brighter since that night.
Our sons were born a month apart and it was always fun to get together for WWE PPVs and live events. I remember how much fun it was to be able to do a Father/Son (Patriots) game. You loved being a Dad and even though you are gone now, Tommy will always be the best part of you walking around in this world.
If things had to end today, I'm glad you had Lisa by your side these last few years. This illness has been hard to watch, and through it all, she has been an absolute rock. For you, for Tommy, for Isabella, and for the rest of us. This isn't how either of you would have chosen for your story to end, but that brief time was full of love.
Thursday night was the last time I saw you alive. It is only fitting we got to watch the Patriots play together one last time, and that they won in impressive fashion. It would have been nicer if we could have grilled a bit first and shared a nice, cold beverage together. I was hoping we'd get a chance to do that again. I'm grateful for the good times we did have, Tom Caro. I'm glad you were my friend, and I miss you.

I am shocked and saddened when hearing this news. I had the pleasure of working with Tom at Cintas for about 6 years. He was a great guy. Funny, caring, looked out for people. He was a great drummer, and had fun playing. I got to hang out and see his band many times. I also got to go to at least a couple of Pats games with him and had a blast with him. Tom will always be remembered by me as a funny, caring and great person. Lisa, please accept my deepest condolences. Prayers to you and your family in this tough time. Hang in there.

Tommy, I knew from the day I took you on your ride along you were a good guy, for 12 years we broke each other’s chops every chance we could. I always looked forward to seeing you as I knew one of us would take a shot at each other. You were an inspiration to us in terms of being a father. Always bragging about little toms accomplishments. It was such a pleasure working with you! To Lisa, Tommy, and Bella, I’m so deeply sorry for your loss, he loved you 3 more than you know.

My deepest condolences to the friends and family of Mr. Thomas. Death is very painful and we will never get used to losing our Love ones in death. The reason is because we were created with everlasting life in view. (Ecclesiastes 3: 11). You will be deeply missed. The joy you brought whenever you were around is indescribable. You always put a smile on my face and your good spirit was infectious. Your heart and the love you shared with everyone should make your whole family very proud. I was honored how you use to fuss over my spagetti sauce. You used to make me feel like a famous Chef. My love for you will never stop.
Love,
Aunt Mary
