Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Anderson, Sr.

Kenneth Eugene Anderson, Sr., age 85, of Cheshire and recently of Southington entered into rest on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Apple Rehab in Meriden. Kenneth was born on October 16, 1933 in New Haven, son of the late Raymond and Helen (Bagley) Anderson.

Ken served his country with honor and pride with the US AirForce and worked as an Insurance Salesman for many years.  He was a Past Master and 32 Degree of the Day Spring Lodge #30, A.F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge in Hamden.  Ken also belonged to the Cheshire Kiwanis and the Shriners.

He is the loving father of Sheryl Estrom and her husband, Carl of Meriden; Faith Roth and her husband, Robert of Cheshire; and Krista Wilonski and her husband, John of Hamden.  Ken is survived by his cherished grandchildren, Kathryn D’Amico, Christopher Roth and Timothy Schwink; his great grandchildren, Jaxson Schwink, Serena D’Amico and Scarlet Roth; and his partner of 30 years, Louellen M. Anderson.  He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth E. Anderson, Jr.; his granddaughter, Caroline Schwink and his sister, Betty Anderson. 

A Memorial Service for Ken will be held at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main Street, Cheshire CT 06410 on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10AM.  Burial will follow with Full Military Honors in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Road, Cheshire.  Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  To leave online condolences for his family, please visit www.fordfh.com
