Obituary of Susan Lee Jodoin

OKEECHOBEE, FL- Susan Lee Jodoin, 67, formerly of Cheshire CT, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL. She was born January 27, 1951 in Bangor, ME and was the daughter of the late Frederick E. Hodgins Sr. and Margaret E. Doane.

She was a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Nursing. She spent many years giving comfort to those in need before moving to FL, where together with her husband, she ran the family business of Pelican Property Management for 14 years prior to their retirement last year. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed crafting, making jewelry, going to the movies with her husband, playing games, eating chocolate and spending time with her children and grandchildren who she cherished.

She was the loving wife of David L. Jodoin, whom she was happily married to for 32 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her only son Ron Williams and his wife Maureen, and their two children Kylie and Logan of North Granby, CT; and her brother Frederick E. Hodgins Jr. and his wife Regina of Iva, SC.

Calling hours for Susan will be held 3:00 to 7:00 PM on November 29, 2018 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. A reception will be held following calling hours.
