Obituary of Frances Virginia Sperry

CHESHIRE - Frances (Ruhl) Sperry, 97, passed away, December 30, 2018 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Philip R. Sperry.

Mrs. Sperry was born September 17, 1921, in Monkton, MD., a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Larkin) Ruhl. She was a homemaker and member of First Congregational Church of Southington.

Mrs. Sperry is survived by her son, David Sperry of Wallingford, and her daughters, Peggy Thibodeau and her husband Patrick of Southington, Bonnie Hamid (Hamid) of Hamden, and Kathleen Sperry (Jeffrey Wilkins) of San Francisco, CA. She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, William Ruhl, James Ruhl and her sister, Margaret Wilkins.

Arrangements – A memorial service for Mrs. Sperry will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at First Congregational Church of Southington, 37 Main St, Southington, CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.  The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
