Obituary of Heinrich Mueller

Cheshire - Heinrich “Henry” Mueller, age 93, of Cheshire and formerly New York, entered into rest on Saturday, December 29, 2018.  He was the devoted husband of the late Hedwig (Reinecker) Mueller for over 50 years.  Henry was born in Lemberg, Poland, lived in Vienna, Austria where he married and emigrated to the United States in 1952.

Henry attended university in Europe for engineering before coming to the United States.  He was a master of several trades having worked as a sheet metal mechanic, auto mechanic and running a television repair business for many years before deciding to purchase his own NYC taxi medallion.

Henry’s true passion was music.  He passed many hours playing the violin, mandolin, accordion and piano.  He also passed the discipline of music down to all his children and grandchildren and when he was no longer able to play himself he took great joy and comfort listening to them play and sing.

Henry is the beloved father of Peter and his wife, Terri of Merrick, NY; Ronald and his wife, Katie of New Haven, CT; and Eric and his wife, Jackie of Cheshire, CT. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Robert, Erin, Sean, Daniel, Matthew and Thomas.

Henry’s burial will be private and at the convenience of his family.  The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire has been entrusted with is care.
