It made my day to see Mr. McConnell walk into the library. We would laugh and give each other a hard time and have fun. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Mr. McConnell never ceased to make everyone smile. He was always so happy and full of life. He was a pleasure to know and to serve at the library. He will be sorely missed.

John was literally one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met and had such an impact on my life 20 years ago. The kindest and funniest of people. I’m honored to have known him. I’m so happy that I got to talk to him on the phone a few times over the last couple years. Such a great father to his kids and i know how much he meant to them.
To his family, I’m so sorry for your loss but know he had such an amazing life with his family. I will never forget him. He always made me feel special as well. Thank you guys for allowing me to be in his life all these years
