Obituary of Joseph A. Tyndall

CHESHIRE – Joseph A. Tyndall, 93, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Monique (Girouard) Tyndall.

Mr. Tyndall was born January 25, 1925 in Engelwood, NJ, a son of the late John and Ethel (Hartley) Tyndall. He was a retired crane operator for the Union of Operating Engineers, Local 478.

In addition to his wife of 70 years, Mr. Tyndall is survived by his sons, Thomas Tyndall of Murrells Inlet, SC, and John Tyndall and his wife, Angie of Mena, AR, and his daughters, Karen Sciascia, and her husband, Anthony, of Cheshire, and Patricia Ferrara of Waterbury. He will also be missed by his four grandchildren and his ten great-grandchildren.

Arrangements – Funeral services for Mr. Tyndall will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 with the funeral procession leaving the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street at 9:30 a.m. and proceeding to St. Bridget of Sweden Parish/St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Rd., Cheshire, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday evening, January 25, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
