Obituary of Edmund A Medeiros

CHESHIRE – Edmund A. Medeiros, 92, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Masonicare Medical Center in Wallingford. He was the husband of the late Stella (Furtado) Medeiros. Mr. Medeiros was born April 15, 1926 in Sao Miguel Island, Portugal, a son of the late Manuel and Ana Medeiros. He was a retired real estate investor.

Mr. Medeiros is survived by his sons, Herbert Medeiros and his wife Adeline, of Virginia, Edmund Medeiros Jr. and his wife, Leslie of Stonington, and his daughter, Stella Romero and her husband, Albert of Cheshire. He will also be missed by his grandsons, Christopher Romero and E. Alexander Medeiros.

Arrangements – Funeral services for Mr. Medeiros will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, with the funeral procession leaving the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street at 9:30 a.m. and proceeding to St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St, Cheshire, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until departure.
