Obituary of Jean Brennan

CHESHIRE - Mrs. Jean Brennan, 85, devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Brennan passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Highland Health Care Center in Cheshire. Her daughters were at her side. Mrs. Brennan was born November 4, 1927 in Margarettville, NY and has been a resident of Cheshire, CT for over 50 years. She is the daughter of the late Leah (Funari) (Bly) Magilti. Mrs. Brennan is survived by 5 children; Joseph Brennan, Block Island, RI, David (Jean) Brennan, Concord, NH, Richard (Laura) Brennan, Cheshire, CT, Claudia Brennan, Cheshire, CT and Sarah B. (George) Mott of Cheshire, CT. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Brennan was preceded by a brother John Bly of Waterbury. She is also survived by 4 sisters and 2 brothers; Ruth (Bly) Copes, Waterbury, Arden Bly, Waterbury, JoAnn (Bly) Rocco, Wolcott, Edward Bly, Waterbury, Mary (Bly) Walsh, Waterbury and Rosalie (Bly) DiPrimio, Southbury. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
