My dad, Ken Hale, gave my sister, Sally Dery, 3 acres of land next to Arisco's. Bob was hired to build their dream house. Sally and Ron with the help of family and some friends were going to do most of the work themselves. After the land was cleared, Bob came over to dig the hole for the foundation. He was also building your house up in the back at the same time. After the foundation was put up, Sally and I started to tar it. The brush got too heavy so we both started just using our hands. Bob came over to see how everything was going. When he saw Sally and I, he just started laughing so hard I thought he was going to wet his pants! He then tried to get us to come over and tar his foundation. I never in my life saw him laugh that hard! Sally and Ron said that every time they saw Bob after that time, all he could talk about was us covered in tar. I hope this brought a smile to your face.
