We knew Betty for many years while we were having breakfast at Short Acre Diner. She always seemed to have a problem for which she needed help which we gladly gave. But no one helped her more than Effie. Effie was her true friend and she depended upon her every day - from her lunches to her heartfelt advice. She surely will put in a good word for Effie with the Lord.
