Wow! What a lady. I will always remember and appreciate the gentle, kind and terrific lady who was the Administrative Assistant at Elim Park when I arrived some 35 years ago. She was dedicated, loyal and a great secretary. Always with a twinkle in her eye, and kind words from her - she was ready and willing to share her office space with a young, loud neophyte. I can't remember a day that she was absent when she was due in the office. Well organized, accurate, detailed - she knew how to make the office hum and others looks good - and never sought the credit. She had confidence in me, always encouraged me to do my best and was my strong support.
Just two weeks ago I drove past her house here in Cheshire and thought that I had let time slip by without seeing Grace. Wonderful memories of a beautiful person. People like Grace are few and far between. This world has lost a warm and gracious Grace! Our thoughts and prayers are with family members and grandchildren. We were privileged to know and work with Grace - she will be missed!
