I'm so sorry for your loss and I'd like to share something that I believe may bring you some comfort during this difficult time. The Bible speaks of a time when we will have the opportunity to see our loved ones again in the near future as John 5: 28,29 brings out that all those in the memorial tomb will be resurrected and come out. Revelation 21:4,5 says that tears and death among other things will be taken away and all things will be made new. Additionally, you’ll be able see your dear one fully restored and healthy as Isaiah 33: 24 says no resident will say I am sick and Isaiah 35: 5, 6 says the eyes of the blind will be opened and the lame one will climb up just as a stag does. I hope these promises from our heavenly father bring you comfort. If you can, take a moment and look these scriptures up and then visualize these promises becoming a reality. Again, I’m so sorry for your loss and the sadness you’re feeling.

To the Larson family and extended friends of Brian . I am so sorry for OUR loss, so blessed to have known this very cynical, caustic but funny guy! He was such a good friend and "my brain trust" at MacDermid, when he went out on leave a huge void had developed for many of us left behind. SMART kid, no one better. We shared a love for animals especially cats :). God Bless, Peace to Brian and to all that knew and loved him. Donna Kologe

My deepest condolences to the Larson Family. I have fond memories of working with Brian at MacDermid and great memories of shooting pool with Brian and sharing a pint. I have been participating in MS Fundraisers for 15+ years and will be riding an MS 175 mile ride this weekend and will ride in Brian's memory. RIP Brian... ~Vic

Gary (you will appreciate this)-
I remember about 30-35 years ago being involved in Mickey Mantle baseball. This is where I first had the pleasure to meet both Brian and Gary from the powerhouse Cheshire team. Waterbury was the host for the World Series and the team I coached,Bunker Hill, was nine outs away from beating Cheshire and going to the World Series. My assistant said, "we've got this in the bag". Surprising we did't - we lost and Cheshire advanced thanks to the coaching efforts of the Larson's. Brian was always competitive and had a keen sense of the game. We had many discussions comparing the Yankees and Tigers. These talks could get a bit heated and were missed when he retired. Brian Rest in Peace!! You will surely be Missed.

The world has lost one of its most interesting individuals. And if Brian can ever be categorized, he was an individual. Brian welcomed me into the R&D labs at MacDermid in 1989 with a mix of mentoring and suspicion. Natural rivals from competing hockey schools, we did find common ground in cheering each other's team (Clarkson or RPI) against Yale at the Whale. And the Yankees, Mets, or Sox were all bad for the sport, but that didn't prevent our many trips to cheer on the bums, and share a couple brews while doing so. It was on the return trip from one such outing that we noticed the unsteady legs that became an MS diagnosis. Gradually, our lunchtime walks to Gus' Luncheonette became slower and less frequent. I think we all saw the change in Brian (I'll always think of him with my nickname 'Gus') as he internalized his diagnosis. Brian had never suffered fools, but as time flowed, I do think he softened in his cynicism, adopting a perspective very few of us can share. Brian was an intense, creative thinker, a passionate fan of athletics, a loyal friend, and surely one of the most interesting individuals I'll ever know. See ya' on the other side, Gus.

Dear Sharon, Gary, Chris, and Family, I was so very saddened to learn of Brian's passing. Hoping you will find comfort in knowing Brian is now at peace, free of pain, and has been reunited with family and friends waiting to greet him. Our dear departed friends Mike D'Angelo and Bill Sullivan were among the first to greet Brian...of that I'm certain. Please know Brian, as well as each of you are in my prayers. With deepest sympathy... Steve Leonetti

My deepest condolences to the Larson family over the passing of Brian. I do not know the words to properly express how saddened and frankly depressed I am over this news. He was a great friend to me as well as to many, many others and will be forever missed. I guess the only silver lining (if you can choose to look for one) is that he is no longer in the clutches of Multiple Sclerosis. Sincerely, Randy Schmidt
