I still cant believe he's gone. I will miss Wes' off brand humor and comedic genius. He was a kind, cool and funny man everyone enjoyed hanging out with. RIP old friend.

Anyone who reads this and remembers me knows that Wes was my best friend, my partner in crime during the best years of life. We were inseparable. I cannot imagine life without him now. I miss everyone from the neighborhood, all the old crew. I left WTBY for good a long time ago, but always would come back to see Wes throughout the years. The love I had for Wes, his family, and every friend I ever had in Wtby never left, always stayed the same in my heart. He never stopped being my best friend and brother. I miss him terribly and will never get over his passing. My heart is broken. We all truly lost the best of us on 29 Aug 2013. I cannot think of one person who ever disliked Wes. Not one. I know I cannot say the same for myself. I am worried about my "little brother" Devin now that Wes is gone. The Punter family IS my family and I love them all. They are the nicest most loving family and to suffer the losses they have the last two years. Terrible. I have so many great memories I couldn't possibly list them all but I will always remember:
-Hanging out every day doing nothing but having the best of times anyway.
-Wes' crazy stories and jokes. No one was better.
-His laugh: first a small chuckle, then that almost silent laugh if you got him going, to a full eye-popping full laugh while he says "Stop!" while trying to breathe.
-Combining our money to go buy Roast Beef grinders with crazy hot sauce late at night.
-Stopping by thru the years unannounced with Dominick and Pia's pizza or Blackie's Hot Dogs.
-His green parka jacket.
-Trips over the railroad tracks to get Hostess.
-Taking food from friends home and having a cook-out the next day.
-Hanging out in the basement of his home.
-The Rock!
-All the good times at Kennedy H.S.
-Playing street sports from early on: Football, stick ball, kick ball, etc. Traveling all over Wtby to play against other friends.
-Going out each year on Halloween.
-Walking EVERYWHERE!
-Going each year together to Municiple Stadium to see the fireworks.
-Hanging out in the neighborhood, the plaza, Fulton Park, etc.Going to the wrong house party on the correct streetand Wes stealing the Birthday cake! Getting caught and running while he was eating the cake! Man he ran so slow! But our friends house was close so we survived that night!
-His favorite sayings: "Your butt stinks!" Every tooth in your mouth is rotten!" "But but butWho issssss THAT!"
-Buying 12" records at the record shop downtown (still there I think).
-Sneaking onto the train behind my home and going to NY. Once getting stuck there til the next day.
-So many good times, not enough space.
Goodbye Wes. I love you always. Rest in peace until we meet on the other side.

Wes is my oldest friend in the world. I not only lost a friend but I lost a brother. I will always smile when I think of him. I will always smile when I tell his stories. I can not imagine my life without him being a funny friend and brother. I miss his tooth. I miss his smile. I miss his nappy head and ashy elbows. I MISS MY FRIEND. I love you Wes.
