Mom always talked about the Farm and how much she loved it. She was born in the Schieffer homestead and was raised there. As a wedding present from her Grandparents, Henry and Katherine Schieffer, Mom and Dad were given a parcel of land on the north side of Jarvis Street and built a cape. Opposite the home was a one room school house that she said Aunt Caroline and Grandma Salvatore always kept the wood stove going in the winter time. I beleive the step to the school house was there for many years. I wish I had that step now to use at the family home. What a piece of history that would be.
miss you Mom but I know you are whole again and are at peace with Dad, Harry, Uncle Bud and eveyone you love. Love and hugs to all

Darlene, Holly, George: I am very sorry for your loss. I thought the world of your Mom. When I think of 'Aunt Theresa', I think of fantastic food, laughter, and good times at the pool and picnics. I am blessed to have shared time with Her. Tom

Dee, Holly, George and Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose your Mom; but knowing she is in a better place and whole again, helps the pain. Try to remember the good times when she was your Mom. That's that. Sincerely, Janet Hale

Dear Dee, Holly, and the rest of the Smith family, I am sorry to read about your mom's passing. It is so hard losing them to Alzheimer's due to their mind going before their body. My dad, Ken Hale, died from this disease also. You are in my heart and prayers. With deepest sympathy, Nancy Hale
